- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪The call started out nicely. She she was polite and all. Until I asked for validation of the supposed debt they claim I owe. She then got very aggressive and even asked me what I had to hide. Um, hello, nothing, but I would like to confirm that this supposed debt is for me. She threatened to send it to collections and have me sued. I cited my rights under the federal law in regards to validating a debt, got a mailing address, and got off the phone. Know your rights people and use them! The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act protects your right to debt validation.
